Pechauer Southeast Open 9-ball Tour the weekend of August 12-13. Hosted by The Crooked cue billiard parlor in Waynesville, NC, the stop garnered a field of 33 tough Southern pool players.Working his way through the one-loss side, Kennedy made it to the quarterfinals against Brian White, defeating him 9-6. Meanwhile, Jeff Abernathy and B.J. Ussery fought a hill-hill nail-biter for the hot seat, with Abernathy squeaking by with the prize. Now facing Kennedy, Ussery seemed a bit deflated and went home with a third-place finish after TK in FLA won their match 9-6. In the finals, it was all Kennedy, and he defeated Abernathy 11-6 for the title.
